Molotov Cocktails Burn Cars

So far, no arrests after 3 Molotov cocktails were thrown at the managers building of Deer Ridge Apartments in the 6000 block of Creston Avenue around 3:3 this morning. Detectives say the devices bounced off the building and started fires on the ground, one of them setting fire to a couple of cars in the parking lot. The Des Moines Register reports a witness heard what sounded like kids yelling outside apartment, then a loud crash against his window. Richard Koontz says he looked outside and saw flames.
