We're learning more about an Iowa State University assistant professor who was forced out of his job in October after faking the results of an AIDS vaccine. The biomedical sciences expert resigned after admitting he spiked rabbit blood to falsely show the vaccine was working in research animals. James Bradac of the National Institutes of Health says human blood components were apparently added to the rabbit blood to skew the results of experiments. Bradac says the phony results helped an ISU research team gain millions of dollars in federal money.
