A Jefferson man was killed in a Greene County crash Tuesday night, after leading the Iowa State Patrol on a high speed chase. 18-year-old Jonathon Bindel was being pursued on westbound Highway 30 after being observed driving fast and erratically. The Taurus he was driving collided with a Jefferson Police Department pickup truck at North Grimmell Road. Bindel's 20-year-old passenger was taken to the Greene County Medical Center.
