The State Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board voted 6-0 today to toss a complaint against Brent Rastetter. The complaint was brought by the Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement and other groups after Rastetter voted in June to scrap a proposed toughening of clean water regulations. The complaint: Rastetter had a conflict because he owns a business that builds large livestock operations that are regulated under the clean water laws.
