Students at Metro-area schools now have access to a tip line to report potential crimes. It's being run through Polk County Crime Stoppers, and lets students from Des Moines and other Polk County districts call, text, or fill out an online form to anonymously report a crime. The Des Moines Register reports it was proposed to deal with guns in Des Moines schools, but tips are expected on drugs, bullying and outside school issues.
