Des Moines Schools Energy Savings
Des Moines Studebacker Elementary and McCombs Middle
schools have made the top ten in the annual Energy Star National
Building Competition: Battle of the Buildings. KCCI reports
Studebaker saved 31.9% in energy use last year-$14,000. McCombs
Middle 29.7%, and an estimated $46,700 on energy in 2013.
