At least one person was seriously hurt during the overnight VEISHA
celebration at Iowa state university... KCCI says at least one person
was seriously hurt and flown to a hospital in des moines after he was
hit with a light pole in the head... students gathered on the streets
at about 11 last night, and reportedly pulled out stop signs, broke a
window on a fire station, and flipped over at least two vehicles.
Police broke up the crowd about an hour after the riot started...
several students were arrested.
