Iowa companies had a robust 2013. All 21 publicly traded companies in Iowa finished in positive territory at the end of the year, and all but four beat the Dow Jones industrial average, which had its best year since 1995. If you owned equal shares of all 21 Iowa stocks, you would have seen a return of 38%.
