Maryland-based Nadicom's bringing a new iron castings foundry to Iowa City, and the plans call for hiring 175-people. KCCI reports the company hopes to start operations in 2013. Announcing the plan today at the Iowa Wind Energy Association conference, Nadicom's CEO says their initial focus will be on the wind turbine market. The company's $85-million plan will be reviewed by the state and Iowa City.
