Dems Business Property Tax Cut Plan

Iowa Senate Democrats have taken the wraps off a “Business Property Tax Relief Fund” that would cut property taxes by at least $50 million annually starting next July. The Des Moines Register reports the permanent, on-going appropriation to the fund would grow by $50 million each year that state revenues increase by at least 4%, until the goal of $200 million annually is reached.
