Sen. Matt McCoy is proposing eliminating more than 200 public school superintendents' jobs. He said the plan would save anywhere from $20 million to $40 million and improve the education system. McCoy said having more than 300 public school superintendents is wasting money and hurting the state. He tells KCCI-TV the state only needs 99 superintendents, one per county.
