The Younkers building dowtown is getting a fresh look. The color will change from gray to its original shade - possibly a sandstone yellow or orange, and windows will be changed to more closely match the building's original appearance. It's a $45 million project, which includes converting the building into a largely residential one. They'll add an open-air courtyard and atrium in the middle of the block. Construction should begin in June if everything goes according to plan.
