Doctor Pleads
A Newton doctor's been sentenced to 5-years in federal prison on his guilty plea to a count of illegally dispensing a controlled substance resulting in death. WHO-TV reports prosecutors say Lafayette Twyner prescribed hydrocodone to a patient he knew was addicted to the pain killer. That patient overdosed.
