Downtown Renovation

Part of Western Gateway Park in downtown Des Moines is getting a face-lift. The vacant buildings, south of the Papa John Sculpture Park, used to be auto showrooms that have deteriorated over the years. They'll be turned into office space and restaurants. Some could open as early as this fall.
