Carroll's Auto Wrecking's been around since 1955, but the salvage yard gates will close for the last time May 31st. It's going away to make way for the extension of SE MLK Parkway. ABC5 reports Carroll's is one of about ten businesses the city is buying land from for Southeast Connector project. Carroll's owner is leaving with $1.5-million.
