DNR: Expect good wild turkey harvest

People have had lots of turkey today, but also expect the bird to remain plentiful in the wild this year.

DNR officials tell KCRG television that they expect a bumper crop for turkey season.

They say this has resulted from strong hatching conditions two years ago, which has led to lots of mature birds for the taking.
