A former Polk County District Court employee will be paid $125,000 as part of a settlement alleging wrongful termination resulting from retaliation following a violence in the workplace complaint. The Des Moines Register reports the Iowa Appeal Board's agreed to pay Cynthia Marshall $54,193 in compensation, $15,000 in back pay, and $56,000 to her attorneys.
