The stores have been filled in Des Moines from last night through today, but retailers are fighting to keep shoppers from using their stores to try on or scope out gifts and then go home and order them on Amazon.com. Amazon is competing head to head with brick and mortar stores even before Cyber Monday by giving shoppers the option of picking up items at physical locations or adding Sunday delivery.
