Roadside Cleanup Project

A three-month pilot program is kicking off to help keep roadside cleaner in east-central Iowa... several groups are collaborating for the program, which is led by environmentalist Doug Elam and will also include the organization keep Iowa beautiful and the city of Cedar Rapids... it'll involved recruiting groups and individuals to adopt two miles of Iowa roadside... they'll agree to clean their designated stretch of road twice a year. Roadside signs will tell you that the area is kept up by volunteers.
