Solar Power

An environmental group says Iowa's solar electrical potential outranks states like Georgia, Utah, and South Carolina... the Iowa environmental council says Iowa ranks 16th in the nation for how much solar power it could reasonably produce... the group says solar power projects are being put in at farms, universities, businesses, and homes... the council says just like wind energy became more popular in Iowa, solar can too. the report was largely paid for by the Iowa energy center at Iowa state university.
