A Call for Iowa and Illinois to Partner to Pitch Boeing Plant

A huge economic prize is the new jetliner plant Boeing is planning and which locations around the nation are pitching hard. Now The Bi-State Regional Commission is urging the governors of Iowa and Illinois to band together to convince Boeing to build its new Boeing 777x plant in the Quad Cities. They figure both states together can make Boeing an offer that can beat what a single state can afford. That's according to the "Moline Dispatch." Several other states are already in competition to be the home of the new plant.
