Des Moines city officials are asking local gardeners for help. The Des Moines Parks and Recreation department is requesting donations of perennial plants, flowers and shrubs to help beautifty public lands throughout the city.
Donations can be brought to the Chesterfield Community Center tomorrow and Saturday.
