The state senate's government oversight committee plans to question current and former state government administrators over confidential settlement agreements.
The committee chairwoman says she wants to know who authorized payments for secrecy to former state workers.
Three-hundred-twenty state workers have entered settlement agreements since Terry Branstad returned as governor three years ago.
