The rural mainstreet index, which surveys bankers in ten midwestern and plains states, including (iowa) has dropped ... this month the index dropped to 53 point 6... down from 55 point 6 in May... any score above 50 generally suggests growth in the months to come... anything below 50 suggests a decline... the numbers go from zero to 100.
