The drought is taking its toll on Iowa farmers and many are eager to cut their ruined corn crop to be able tou se it as livestock feed, but experts are warning them to wait. Farmers are filing their insurance claims, but any claim over $200,000 will automatically be audited. Farmers are being told to wait until and adjuster had seen the crop and they've received official notice that their field has been released before harvesting it for other purposes.
