MidAmerican Energy plans to promote energy efficiency programs in three Des Moines neighborhoods as part of a new pilot program. The Des Moines Register reports MidAmerican will join the city, the Center on Sustainable Communities, and Green Iowa AmeriCorps to spread awareness of energy usage and promote energy efficiency programs. An official announcement is tomorrow morning.
