A bill that aims to change the state's law dealing with drunken
drivers has cleared the Iowa house... right now, drunken driving
offenders face an immediate license suspension, even on the first
offense... the new bill would let offenders start driving sooner if
they put in an ignition lock device, so they can't start their car
unless they haven't had alcohol... the bill now goes back to the
senate for more consideration.
