A new regional governing board is made up of four large medical centers in Iowa's Mercy Health Network. The board will provide governance and oversight to the mercy medical centers in Sioux City, Mason City, Dubuque, and Clinton... the new regional board does NOT replace the local board in each medical center's hometown... but the organization's officials say the new regional board will allow for greater unity in developing strategies and pursuing better care, healthier organizations, and lower costs.
