Burglars didn't steal much in a Southside Des Moines burglary, but what they got was expensive. A wedding ring worth $10,000 was one of the items stolen on Maxwelton Drive Friday. The burglars broke in through the back door sometime during the day. Des Moines police tell ABC5 there's been an increase in Southside burglaries, that's why they started up a new special undercover burglary unit.
