The Polk City City Council's expected to go ahead with spending as much as $930,000 for reconstruction of Booth and Washington Streets. The Des Moines Register reports the council's been given options including storm sewers, curbs, and gutters. A public information meeting for residents affected by the work is March 13th, and the council could have a decision on March 24.
