The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was found dead today. KCCI reports the County Medical Examiner and deputies are at the scene in the area off Northeast 166th Avenue about 7 miles southeast of Cambridge near the Polk/Story county line. A sheriff's spokesperson says the body was found by a friend of the deceased. An autopsy's planned to determine how he died.
