The Des Moines City Council is expected to review a plan to rename Nollen Plaza tonight. Des Moines Performing Arts Board is redeveloping the park, and they're asking the city to change the name to Cowles Commons. KCCI reports the $9 million renovation plan was approved two weeks ago. The park's across the street from the Civic Center.
