There'll soon be a new face on Ankeny's City Council. 33-year old Bobbi Bentz won yesterday's runoff election to fill the seat vacated by the resignation of Craig Block. The Des Moines Register reports the election results are expected to be certified by Polk County Supervisors on the 21st, and that's when Bentz will assume office. Her term will expire in 2015.
