The Des Moines Water Works Board Trustees has voted to voted hire Bill Stowe as its new CEO. The board met this afternoon to hear the recommendation of its search committee. There were 5-finalists for the job: Patrick Ball, William Gilmore, Kirk Hobbs, Bill Stowe, and Jason Yarborough. Stowe's head of DM's Public Works Department. Current Water Works CEO and General Manager Randy Beavers is retiring September 7th.
