Two new judges now sit on the district court bench in Iowa. Governor Terry Branstad has appointed Joel Dalrymple to the 2nd Judicial District, which covers 22 counties in central and northern Iowa. Dalrymple fills the vacancy created by the appointment of Judge Thomas Bower to the Iowa Court of Appeals. Also on Monday the Governor appointed Gregg Rosenbladt as a district judge in the 1st Judicial District, that covers 11 counties in northeast Iowa. Rosenbladt will fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Stephen Carroll.
