The company planning to build a $1.2 billion fertilizer plant in Iowa or Illinois says it'll make a final choice in the next one to two months. Illinois' Governor signed a bill yesterday giving incentives, an estimated $30-million, to Cronus Chemical if it picks Illinois. Iowa's offered incentives worth about $35-million. The plant would employ about 150 and create over 1,500 short-term construction jobs.
