State health officials are looking for the cause of an outbreak of an uncommon strain of Salmonella.
The Iowa Department of Public Health says 26 reports in 19 counties have come in over the past several weeks.
IDPH Medical Director Dr. Patricia Quinlisk says the strain is often related to improper cooking of eggs or poultry.
