Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield is planning to move about 100 jobs to the Des Moines metro. The employees are currently at a subsidiary, First Administrators, in Sioux City. That office will close by the end of the year. About 117 jobs are involved. Wellmark says it'll work with Iowa Workforce Development to provide career counseling and job placement workshops to help workers.
