Des Moines PD say a detective in an unmarked car saw what looked like a domestic assault in another car on 19th street off MLK Parkway this morning, pulled her car over and ordered a man out of the other car. KCCI reports 37-year old Tyjuan Tucker smashed the rear window of his car and crawled out. There was a confrontation and Officer Yanira Scarlett fired her weapon. Tucker's injuries aren't life threatening and charges are pending.
