Des Moines police say 46-year old Spencer Pierce and 26-year old Deanna Hood were charged today with first degree murder and first degree robbery. Investigators say the charges are tied to the June death of Steven Harmon who they believe was killed during a robbery on E. 17th Street. Pierce and Hood were already in the Polk County Jail on drug charges from a warrant served in the investigation.
