They call themselves Concerned Citizens of Southeast Polk School District, and they've filed suit in Polk County court against the city of Pleasant Hill to stop a planned warehouse project. The 71-acre site's a half mile west of SE Polk High School on Iowa Hwy 63. The suit challenges the legality of the city's annexation of the land for the project, as well as the use of Tax Increment Financing money.
