Clive has stopped issuing tickets on red light cameras at 8:09 last night. WHO-TV reports the City Council last night rejected a new 5-year contract with Redflex Traffic Systems, the company that operates the cameras. The original deal expired at the end of last year, and the city was continuing the agreement on a quarterly basis. Tickets issued before 8:09 p.m. Thursday still have to be paid.
