Des Moines Shooting

A Des Moines man was shot in the knee last night in an apparent robbery attempt on Maury at East 30th Street.  27-year-old Chad Kain told police he was pushed to the ground and shot, and said the suspect looked just as as surprised as he was that a shot went off.  Kain told police he thinks the man never meant to shoot him.
