Tyson Decision

A decision from Tyson foods will save nearly 400 jobs in western Iowa... Tyson foods has changed its plans - and decided NOT to close - it's beef plant in Dennison... a couple of years ago Tyson said the plant would close after the completion of a 90 million dollar expansion and modernization project at the beef plant in Dakota city... that project has taken longer to finish than expected. Tyson says it's keeping the Denison plant open because of the lower feed prices for cattle, and the closure of some competitors' beef plants. employees were told about the change last week...
