Transportation Director

A guilty plea this week - from the former transportation director of a northwest Iowa school district who was accused of tampering with bus records... 52 year old Douglas Wessling was the transportation director for the Galva-Holstein community school district... he'd been put on leave last fall, then lost his job after an investigation by the Iowa state patrol... three buses had reportedly been taken out of service because of damage...Wessling allegedly falsified repair records on at least three buses... and he put one of those buses back into use before it had been fixed. He will receive two years of probation and an order to pay a $1,000 fine.
