A 53-year-old Des Moines woman's been arrested and had her concealed carry permit confiscated after she allegedly pointed a gun at a man who was throwing a Fourth of July party at his Beaverdale home. The Des Moines Register reports it happened in the 2300 block of 38th Street late Thursday night. Shelley Kitsis was charged with assault with a weapon and taken to Polk County Jail.
