Two Newton men have been arrested in a drug investigation involving the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Task Force and Newton police. Investigators recovered pot, has, and drug paraphernalia during the search of a home in the 800 block of First street North last night. Police say 56-year-old Michael Burgess and 19-year-old Peter Burgess face charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
