There's been no comment from the USDA on a lawsuit filed in federal court yesterday to stop new meet labeling rules, which, among other things, bar mixing meat from animals that come from different countries. The American Meat Institute and seven other groups say segregating meat would be expensive, doesn't make food safer or provide a public health benefit.
