If you travel Merle Hay Road in Johnston, be warned. Starting Monday the intersection of Merle Hay Road and NW 64th Place will be closed for five days as the city’s public works department taps a water main. The southbound lanes of Merle Hay will be closed, and traffic will be reduced to two lanes in the road’s northbound lane.
