Polk County's Board of Supervisors is expected to vote tomorrow on a resolution approving a settlement in a lawsuit over the Iowa Events Center. HOK Sports, Inc., now known as Populous, was sued over the design and construction of the Center. KCCI reports the deal would pay the county $1.4 million in exchange for dismissing the lawsuit, originally filed in April 2011.
